I began my career in the nightclub industry, starting life as a DJ, eventually moving into management where, after a while, I focussed on sales and marketing.
I left to run an agency that specialised in the same sector before, in 1998, setting up Collaborator, where we continued to focus on club work. There followed a natural transition to the food and drink sector, working with some of the most prominent names on the high street.
My primary skills are designing show-stopping creative concepts and using my operational and marketing experience to create successful growth strategies that are easy to implement and measure.
After my early dreams of becoming an architect were dashed (my bridges kept collapsing), a change in direction led me to work for a UK leader in live events. As a result, I went back to university to study Events Management.
Before we started Collaborator in 1998, I worked in marketing for one of the UK's leading health and fitness organisations, leaving to focus on our business.
Although my business role is multi-tasking, wearing many different hats, everything from account manager to the financial controller. These days my focus is on planning social media strategy & content.
